The biggest reason for people to run an alt account as so they can maximise their voting rewards across different tribes.
For example, I only have LEO powered up on this account.
So if I wanted to go and curate the POB tribe, I would be wasting my VP because I can't earn rewards.
Hence having an alt with stake and a pure POB focus would be more beneficial.
But yeah, it's a lot of work for not much gain.
I'm all in on LEO and the Leo tribe.
