RE: Daily Crypto Markets Live Blog: Crypto Market Cap Back At $2T (08/12/21)

Twitter recently updated their UI and of course, 50% of the population complains.

Interestingly, Jack chose to reply to this guy with 'Bitcoin fixes this':

Bitcoin fixes this?

Well, not really.

Hive however, provides a working decentralised framework for Web 3 social dApps like LeoFinance to plug into.

If you don't like 1 UI, simply change front-ends.

Your data/content/followers remain on the account level that YOU control.

(I try to be less spammy or sassy than the rest of Hive Twitter when I reply to tweets like this and encourage others to do the same).

Lol, a great ad for bitcoin. I wonder how much this tweet will sell as an NFT? 😂

One can learn open source technologies like Hive and develop their own UIs or get them developed from someone else. No need to start from scratch at least.

Hive is going to make a lot of noise going forward. We will see a tremendous amount of development taking place down the road. I have a feeling the HAF will attract a lot of developers.

We will see what Blocktrades has to say on Tuesday.

Yea I like the different UIs but it does seem like most communities tend to be the same model. I do wish to see some different UIs on that end.

It looks as if many tribal front-ends are modeled after Hive.Blog, and they all seem to behave in the same way: slow to upvote, slow to post. The LeoFinance front-end handles upvoting far quicker and posting much faster.

That's true, it's the best front-end out there

Music4Life got a new one, but it doesn't look as fast. I heard Proof of Brain is getting a new one too so let's see how that goes

I hope Proof of Brain gets a new front-end. Every time I upvote and post while using it I feel the Charlie Brown hairs on my head grow longer.

Haha oh I totally agree that the front-ends suck from a user experience point of view. leofinance.io is the best of a bad bunch... but it's not even close to a good experience if I'm being honest.

But the key is that the technology to plug and play different front-ends into a truly decentralised network, is present only on Hive. Now we just need some good front-end designers to come along and make the place sing!

Dorsey is turning this into a total joke.

We just need to keep pushing ahead with our development on Hive and we will be there. Give us another 6-12 months and I have a feeling things will be a lot different.

@splinterlands already is bringing in some traffic. This can be leveraged when the time is right.
