There you have one problem with US sanctions toward Cuba, that prevent us from joining to some platforms engaged in crypto activities (like trading). I know of colleagues that have lost some amounts of crypto invested for being Cubans.
Getting one’s email sold when signing up on some of these websites is already frustrating enough. I hate receiving unsolicited emails, not to talk of when it’s an entire data from doing kyc. 😒
Reason 2: Concerns over the security of your data storage.
With numerous examples of data hacks and leaks, it's understandable why some traders may not trust that the company, or even government, will keep your information secure.

Reason 3: Risk of having financial assets frozen due to political/cultural beliefs.
This is a real issue in many parts of the world, so crypto traders may prefer to keep their financial transactions anonymous.

Reason 1: You may not want to trust that the company you’re giving your details to won't sell it to advertisers.
Once your information has been sold, it's out of your control.
