I agree that it's a good thing they've lost their excitement, but meme coins have still served a purpose.
They've lifted the profile of the entire cryptocurrency industry to a new level.
I'm not sure there would now be a single person who hasn't at least heard of crypto.
Most think it's a scam, but they've at least heard of it.
Don't underestimate the part that Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have played in building this profile for the entire industry.
But yep, now we can move forward with the serious projects that you know...
...actually do something haha.
