If you're brand new and have 0 stake, does a vote worth zero really matter?
I'd say you're better off showing that you're here to add value through your content even if you aren't yet able to with your upvote.

It matters because it gets the clock moving toward the moment we pass dusting threshold and finally see the curation rewards in our notifications. More reason to follow the accounts for both @dustsweeper and @dustbunny.
If a newbie never votes, then the newbie is locked at 0 stake with zero movement. That's just math.
