Yes, makes sense. Extra work for witnesses though.
Hardly any "work". The alternative imo would be to use this information to pitch to exchanges that they should list HBD
I tried a little on Twitter. I left a comment for Coinbase and Binance. I was surprised to see that Binance only lists Hive and not HDB. HBD supply is small, I doubt they would be interested in these small amounts. But would be a good passive income for them. There is no point of telling them now, since changes will be happening soon.
