What the heck is this experiment all about? A little while ago, I decided to do an experiment to determine whether delegating Hive Power to Ecency would give the delegator the best possible returns on Hive in terms of APY.

Using mathematical formulas I crafted, I've been keeping daily track of the APY that I've been getting from keeping + increasing this delegation. These formulas give a fair and unbiased APY (the post describes how this was achieved).

I've found that the APY is highly dependent on posting and commenting activity. The more active you are on Hive, the better returns you'll get. Seems like common sense? I sure hope so! … And the APY is pretty dang impressive.

Well, you'd have to also Boost the post using Ecency points. You'd get more Ecency points by writing posts and comments from the Ecency frontend/website!
