That doesn't apply only to the own posts, microblogging or not, but the small rewards for the genuine content also adds up.
I, most of the time, don't do often use the microblogging option. It is not that my posts are pages long. But days that I don't have a blogpost, I could use for instance the actific post to fill up that empty space for the day, but I rarely do this for some reason or the other. Sometimes it does feel like harvisting the auto-votes.
I do know that this part of the game, I don't know why I don't play the game like most do here. Really don't know.

It's a personal choice to act that way, and that's perfectly fine. After all, we need to feel comfortable with what we're doing.

Over time, each person develops their own strategies here. There are many paths to follow, and they all end up working for us at different times.
