I have not read the whole document yet. But, i wonder if CeFi is ever useless given the crypto space is still to cater many new users not yet onboarded.
That's why the title says "slowly". CEXes in crypto will mainly be reduced over time to crypto-fiat gateways. While other types of CeFi in crypto should quickly become obsolete. It will take longer for CeFi in fiat world to lose domination.

Yeah. By "slowly' I think it will take at least 5-7 years given the rate of crypto adoption. But, you are right.
We still have the link to fiat that is going to keep enhancing CeFI in many ways.
