I don't know what the future holds, but yep, we surely left behind lots of JSON ops that may potentially migrate to Hive at some point.
To be honest, I don't think there can be a comparison in activity between Tron and Hive, unless they artificially pump it.
JSON ops do show how big things can become with transactions. It will only take a few legitimate games with a decent number of players before we see the numbers really explode.
Imagine if the transactions of a top 25 game were actually recorded on a blockchain. That would amount to billions of transactions.
