I was raised learning the value of money and of earning it by one's actions and efforts rather than taking handouts. It's good to be teaching your kids the same in a world that seems to value more, more, more over anything else.
I don't think we have that same law here, about the cash, although one would probably never walk into a place and want to pay large sums with it. I paid $7,500 in cash last October when I had a few accessories put on my truck and they were like, come on! I didn't want the government knowing what I was spending. It's none of their business.
