I agree on the long term goal of gold, the damage has been long done so there's really no turning this ship. Trump can only delay the inevitable or soften the crash landing but more importantly is that he bought some time for everyone.
I wasn't expecting such a blowout in the elections but I guess that is just the result of the failed policy and the economy being so bad. I saw a lot of people who I did not see ever endorsing him do it. So I thought the popular vote was there but the chances weren't so high.
