There is a big reason why I have and will continue to support the HIVE platform, because even though I have thought about selling my Bitcoin and BNB to pay for another investment I am looking at in the medium term, I still think that selling my HIVE at the current price is losing a lot of money because it has a lot of growth potential compared to the cryptos that command the largest market cap today.
This thing that HIVE has and that makes it currently my biggest investment (above Bitcoin) refers to its stablecoin called Hive Backed Dollar (HBD), and that has managed to be a stablecoin due to different economic measures that have been taken throughout its lifetime, so we see that it is a Stablecoin that does not require having dollars saved, but achieves stability in another way.
Because HBD does not require to have dollars saved but it does not require to have a regulation by any country, it may be the case that it is a bit volatile in its price, being that it may cost $ 1.05 or it may cost $ 0.95 but it will always tend to be in a price range close to $ 1, which makes that if we do not want to change the HBD we want to sell at this time, we can wait a bit and do it at another time for the price of $ 1.
The lack of regulation of HBD also has a very positive side and is the great reason why I continue to support the project, and is that it can not be censored, can not be confiscated and can not be taxed, because it does not require that we have the HBD in some centralized platform (outside bittrex which I can not access for being Venezuelan), but we can move between the Polygon network and the Hive network, being decentralized networks that will not eliminate the possibility of doing whatever we want with our money (as long as we have full custody and do not lose the private keys).
After knowing how important it is to have HBD in our liquidity portfolio, it is necessary to tell the reason why it is important to have liquidity in pHBD-USDC which is the liquidity pool created in the Polygon network, since something that prevents a massive adoption of HBD by the giant market players (whales) is that there is not much liquidity today to be able to buy millions, but currently we have to see the thousands and in some exceptional cases, the hundreds of thousands, and all this through the DEX of Hive.
What happens with the pHBD-USDC liquidity pool is that it allows people to buy and sell HBD with another stable currency (in this case it is USDC) without there being a large loss, at the same time that those of us who add the liquidity, can receive a profit for giving our money (currently above 50% annual return).
We are seeing that one of the crown jewels of the HIVE network is taking more and more importance, because we can see that the fact of getting a stable currency that is not regulated, can open many opportunities, from everything that has to do with DeFi, to traditional finance that is represented by saving in that stable currency and paying for products or services with that stable currency.
We still have a lot to grow as a community, but there is no denying the great advances we have been able to have in these years, and the stability of HBD is one of those great advances that have more value than having Hive at 3$, because the growth opportunities become exponential with every step we take into the future.

Existe una gran razon por la que he apoyado y seguire apoyando la plataforma de HIVE, ya que aun cuando he pensado en vender mis Bitcoin y BNB para pagar otra inversion que estoy viendo en el medio plazo, sigo pensando que vender mis HIVE en el precio actual es perder mucho dinero porque tiene mucho potencial de crecimiento en comparación con las criptos que manejan la mayor capitalizacion del mercado en la actualidad.
Esto que tiene HIVE y que hace que sea actualmente mi mayor inversion (por encima de Bitcoin) se refiere a su moneda estable llamada Hive Backed Dollar (HBD), y que ha logrado ser una moneda estable debido a diferentes medidas economicas que se han tomado a lo largo de su tiempo de vida, por lo que vemos que es una Stablecoin que no requiere tener dólares guardados, sino que logra la estabilidad de otra forma.
Debido a que HBD no requiere tener dólares guardados pero tampoco requiere tener una regulacion por algun pais, puede darse el caso de que sea un poco volatil en su precio, siendo que puede costar 1.05$ o puede costar 0.95$ pero siempre va a tender a estar en un rango de precio cercano a 1$, lo que hace que si no nos combiene cambiar los HBD que queremos vender en este momento, podemos esperar un poco y hacerlo en otro momento por el precio de 1$.
La falta de regulacion de HBD tambien tiene un lado muy positivo y es la gran razon por la que yo sigo apoyando al proyecto, y es que no puede ser censurado, no puede ser confiscado y no puede ser fiscalizado, debido a que no requiere que tengamos los HBD en alguna plataforma centralizada (fuera de bittrex a la que no puedo acceder por ser venezolano), sino que podemos movernos entre la red de Polygon y la red de Hive, siendo redes descentralizadas que no nos van a eliminar la posbilidad de hacer lo que queramos con nuestro dinero (siempre que tengamos la custodia completa y no perdamos las llaves privadas).
Luego de conocer lo importante de tener HBD en nuestro portafolio de liquidez, es necesario que diga la razon por la que es importante que tengamos liquidez en pHBD-USDC que es la pool de liquidez creada en la red de Polygon, ya que algo que impide una adopcion masiva de HBD por parte de los actores del mercado gigantes (ballenas) es que no existe mucha liquidez en la actualidad para poder comprar millones, sino que actualmente tenemos que ver los miles y en algunos casos excepcionales, los cientos de miles, y todo esto a traves de la DEX de Hive.
Lo que ocurre con la pool de liquidez de pHBD-USDC es que permite a las personas comprar y vender HBD con otra moneda estable (en este caso es USDC) sin que exista una pérdida grandes, al mismo tiempo que los que agregamos la liquidez, podemos recibir un beneficio por dar nuestro dinero (actualmente por encima del 50% de retorno anual).
Estamos viendo que una de las joyas de la corona de la red de HIVE está tomando cada vez más importancia, debido a que podemos ver que el hecho de conseguir una moneda estable que no es regulada, puede abrir muchas oportunidades, desde todo lo que tiene que ver con DeFi, hasta las finanzas tradicionales que se representan por ahorrar en esa moneda estable y pagar productos o servicios con esa moneda estable.
Aún tenemos mucho por crecer como comunidad, pero no se pueden negar los grandes avances que hemos podido tener en estos años, y la estabilidad de HBD es uno de esos grandes avances que tienen más valor que tener Hive en 3$, debido que las oportunidades de crecimiento se hacen exponenciales con cada paso que damos al futuro.

¿Quieres decir que es mucho mejor tener HBD en polygon que tenerlo ahorrados con un APR del 20% en la misma plataforma?
Desde que regresé a publicar (hace poquito) he buscado aprender los cambios que han ocurrido en Hive y la manera de hacer crecer el dinero que tengo allí
Hola! no, es bueno tenerlos en Polygon y tenernos en la red de Hive, ya que ambas son descentralizadas, pero actualmente se esta entregando 50% de rentabilidad anual cuando se agrega liquidez en la red de Polygon con el par pHBD-USDC, lo que va a cambiar en el futuro cuando mas gente agregue liquidez
