True. On the other hand, people that trust in celebrities rather than in experts are not the strongest puppies in the basket.

Nobody should promote such stance, though.

There's also bad vibes spread about 'mainstream media', but that's not just one thing. Reputation matters and is hard to earn. I don't tend to get my news from social media.

Well, Britain has BBC, arguably the most reputable media worldwide. There's nothing similar, at lest not nationwide in the US.

The BBC has its issues, but is generally good and some of the newspapers are very biased. You have to decide who to trust. I'm suspicious of any outlet that spreads hate.

Media have huge power, hence they face issues every now and then. However, the BBC is still on the very top ;)
