Yes, I agree at the moment it is hard to withdraw HivePower. I have almost all my power delegated to @aliento so I would have to wait almost four months to withdraw it all. But as you say, I also do not need it right now.
And I've been seeing some users that are talking about reducing the weeks to power down, some are even talking about Liquid HivePower which is something interesting, not sure if it could work. IMO I think that 6 to 8 weeks of power down would be good.
