Congrats with reaching Champion! Already failed to make it till there the last seasons... Competition is growing rapidly and indeed the randomness with the battles is though! I'm already happy these days if I make it till Diamond1, so many games I lost 😅 Totally not prepared for the chaos 🤣
You are not the only one it seems! A lot of people were pretty confident that the older cards would be enough, but CL does have a bit of power creep (low CP though) and a few new abilities have made a huge difference. For me, "amplify" has been a game changer and now reflect with owster and thorns with Mylor are far more valuable.
I was one of the guys being pretty confident yeah 🤣 Lot of things are changed since I got introduced at Steemfest in Krakow to this Splinterlands addiction.
Amplify is for sure a thing to love! Pretty almost lost everytime playing against a card with it.
Mylor is already a beast since they released it. Didn't have the resources to buy it that time. Hopefully I'll ever find one cheap by accident otherwise I'll keep renting it 😎 Saving up for the weirding warrior at the moment to be able to play this amplify thing! (EDIT: Actually bought it 😅)
