Lets first dive into what is $HARBOR token all about? In a nut shell $HARBOR is the value accrual and governance token of the protocol. Which precisely means that it is a governance token for managing policies on the protocol. And as we all protocol are just rules and regulations that helps in the governance of the blockchain network playing an instrumental role in managing monetary policies and the changes associated to the blockchain moving forward. Following are the communities that has been chooses for the Airdrop::
So if you have a stake in any of the above mentioned communities then you are eligible for the $HARBOR Airdrop. A bit around the $HARBOR tokenomics & its distribution. The supply of the HARBOR token is fixed to be 1 Billion tokens which will be distributed in the following fashion::
- Airdrop 15% - 150M tokens
- 50% Emissions will be distributed as incentives over a period of ~6 years to the community
- 15% for Foundation vested over 24 months linearly
- 10% for the Team to be vested over 24 months linearly
- 10% for Strategic partnerships etc
Now coming to the main point, if I did claim the Airdrop and my eliglbity. Yes, I am eligible for the Airdrop as I have invested and staked in tokens like $EVMOS, $CMDX and $HUAHUA.. And now when I go on the claim the Airdop via the link - ⏰CLAIM $HARBOR NOW:, I get the following error of the Geo-restriction.
I tired searching to get rid of the warning. But could find a way out and was not able to claim my $HARBOR Airdrop. I finally, did write to the @Harbor team on their twitter handle - how to resolve this Geo-restriction error coming while claiming the Airdrop. I am yet to hear from them and once I do get an answer will post about it. Finally, I am not sure about what the future HODL for $HARBOR token, but considering this is all the FREE money via the Airdrop - why to miss iT and just thought to claim the Airdrop and let the coins sit in the wallet for the time being and see how things pan out and particularly in terms of $HARBOR adoption and it being successfully adopted or not... hoping for the best though... cheers
