A genuinely good question to ask is: does this person help someone become a better version of themselves? If not, do they at least genuinely want that?
If the answer to both is no, one should leave — there’s nothing generative there
If the answer is no to the first but yes to the second, the issues need work. Goals are aligned, but some obstacle is blocking good results; it’s probably fixable, even if the solution is costly or not immediately obvious
If the answer to both is yes, consider it a blessing. God is smiling upon one. Keep following that path
