And the picture that is painted for many people is that everyone in The Netherlands lives a luxurious life. Well surprise, that picture is painted by a minority. And that minority doesn't even WANT to realize that life in The Netherlands is getting harder and harder with each month.
A study has even confirmed that the wealth distribution in the Netherlands is very skewed. A quarter of the total wealth in the Netherlands is in the hands of 1 percent of households. And one in four households has a net debt.
