I got started with Hive in January 2020.
So far there has been no direct financial impact on my life as I haven't yet withdrawn any of my Hive assets. It does add to my optimism about my financial future, however.
The main impact is on my time as I spend quite a bit of time on Hive-based platforms each day. It has helped me to create more content of various types, and I invest quite a bit of time into that.
Then there's Splinterlands. I have just spent a couple of hours buying cards and playing some games...
So there we go - the main impact is on my TIME! LOL! but in a positive way as I believe in the investment I'm making.
Seems you got into the game finally :-). Hive is definitely a Time eater. I cut on tv, social media and instead I spend my on Hive. I don't believe my time is spent in a bad way :-)
