RE: Seriously Though: What's up with @dan?

I still think that Steem could have been that one thing that the world would forever remember him for if he had:

  • Ditched Ned.
  • Used proper people for doing marketing instead of dumping a shit ton of Steem on people who claimed to do good things.
  • Continued to focus on the community with good token distribution.

Those early days of Steem(it) was truly amazing, but it went south very fast.

Yep, people become corrupted very easily.
With so much money on the line everyone got crazy.

HOWEVER!

Now that we have what we have... the position that we are in today is like... legendary.
People don't see it yet because of the price action, but damn...
We are set up quite nice at the moment.

I think LeoFinance is an amazing first truly successful Hive community and even though we've seen many great things already, we've just started out. The next 6 months will be very interesting, but the next 5 years will be even cooler to witness.

I wonder if Dan was forced to quit because he didn't want to touch Ned's guitar.. Or if it was because he was not willing to obey the man-with-the-great-hair and play on his strings anymore..

Don't forget, we still have the ninja mined stake in the DHF and looking at some proposals, it's easy to imagine how that can trigger greed.
