Even if it helps people who refer friends just offer small pieces of advice on creating their introduceyourself post.
I know first hand how when you refer a friend and they ask you questions, they're hard to answer.

It sure is. Especially as most newcomers are asking how to earn or getting upset due to the "lack of rewards". They don't seem to understand that it's a progress and that they have to work for it.
It's terrifying that newcomers are comparing themselves with already established, well-known authors from the minute they arrive.
