Hi Hivers, there are a few things that I have in mind to share here about digital marketing. These whole post are my sole opinions from observations and research.
I face challenges sometimes trying to save draft so I typed it on my notes and copied it to paste here. I hope I have not violated any rules.
What is marketing all about? Is it to make people actively participate on Zealy to get a share in the 5,000 HBD prize and let go after the prize distribution?
The answer is "No"
Is it a fight for a position on the leaderboard? Maybe it is about completing a few tasks.
Maybe not.
Digital Marketing is about creating awareness. It is a continuous and deliberate act that includes employing strategy using digital tools and maintaining high-standard structure techniques available through technology to reach and engage targeted audiences.
I really appreciate the prize pool. The distribution announcement of the prize is one way to create awareness.
It should be a way to draw web2 users in. The prize distribution day should be announced on X. One thing I found out that lures people is that they are not moved until we see the results.
Without sharing the big success, audiences are not touched. The best way to reach them is by sight. Creating awareness about price sharing will be more interesting.
My opinions:
- The prize pool sharing should take place on X, this will help to reach more audiences.
Zealy Hive Promotion recorded such an increasing numerical growth in the past four months. From what I observed, there is a monthly increase in the reward given to winners and that's a remarkable one.
My observation is, sometimes, reward distribution is sometimes delayed. It takes time to get the funds together and the waiting time, I suggest that;
- Delay in prize distribution should be minimized.
The marketing and promotions can be done community by another. Support communities that have more engagement and onboard new users the most monthly.
It's just a suggestion.
I believe that the main reason for creating awareness is for viewers to become users and promoters.
This involves keeping them.
How do you keep a user who comes onboard, competed for the leader board (Zealy) and after then, keep getting cents as reward for publishing?
It will not be interesting. Why not make the do something better
Make promotions effective by creating weekly tasks in each community that calls each users to post on their X pages and get rewards for the promotions. The marketing will be more effective and focused.
You can try the app download challenge. App rating of Hive wallet (Hive Keychain) on Google Play Store can also be of help. You can add it to the quests. People will be curious to find out what the Keychain is about.
Creating the monthly campaign might not be as effective as you think.
A big one. What if those who give the funds do not want to give anymore?
It would not be sustained for long.
This can not be achieved for long by default or by dropping pieces of sugar, or ice cube in a glass cup with flavor.
Only the communities can keep new users.
