Recap: Behind the Bags Episode 17

in LeoFinance5 months ago (edited)

The X event was hosted on the 27th of November by @Breads_eth
And co-hosts like @Santa1573, @salamanda.

The space was started by Breads as he exchanged greetings with Santa and asked if she had not heard him talk before. Santa said no, explained the situation of background noises, and apologized in advance

Santa was grateful for Breads' presence in the X space the previous night and Breads complimented the space and called it a mega space.

Sal (Salamander joined as the second co-host. Breads was finding it difficult to play Twitter music. Sal suggested that should be updated as each time she stops the music the space session stops as well. She claimed that user @Joey had the same experience. Breads rapped a little bit before @Makaveli successfully played “Pop It Up”

Breads narrated his post ‘Behind the bags’ experiences, “Every after behind the bag space, I'm just like thank God that’s over.” Also, the energy infusion last hour to the space propels him for the spaces.

He further announced the giveaway to be shared during the space, $50 from InLeo and 2 Sole NFTs from GuyWhoLost100k. @Tyler_Arting who was part of the space donated misfit NFTs and two chin Pokies to the giveaway. A giver, IMO.

| BreaDS stated the requirements to win the InLeo $50, Two sole NFTs, the Chin Pokies, giveaways, like reposting, and commenting on a threadcast among other requirements and move on to the talk of the show. |
| The Show begins fully, How to keep your community engaged after mint. At the time there were 13 experts, 10 Speakers, 2 co-hosts along with the host. The host gave the term of engagement on the show and the agenda is for listeners to learn something and apply it to their community.

Breads listed two situations
| 1. | You successfully see the mint through and you ask what next

| 2. | The mint is taking a long time, like a month or more, what do you do in this situation to keep the engagement, vibes and participation high

The first implementation is in building the community, Tyler spoke about how building a community should start with having an agenda that is community-driven and not initiated by the project utility.

Joey gave a standard of setting a post-mint expectations. They should a a clear and designed destination, and know their timeline.

Secondly, he mentioned the business owners' part in destroying post-minting engagement. He explained how some of the owners overhype and sell beyond what they should. Once the pump is over and the price falls their project has fallen short of expectations. This leads to a disappointment.

He hence recommended that business owners should regulate the hyping and declare the expectations in a regulated manner.

In terms of engagement he explained further that if you have a discord channel or X space, the more you engage with them will determine the response that you will get. You laid down what they should expect of you in terms of engagement and they know what to expect.

Sal continued from where Joey had stopped. She shared her experience about the successful project she was in. She commented that engagement is vital.

She gave another perspective from the project owners, She added that people want to feel valued, so project owners should not be disconnected from their community and should ask community members for suggestions and feedback.

She said people engage more when they feel valued and there are incentives for them.
| Joey thinks there it is burdensome to reward straight finance for engagement. He suggested an off-chain token which is not actual money. |

| Breads add another point to buttress is point. Talking about engagement, there should also be a consideration like what you want the community to do for you.

| Santa emphasized the fact that the members should promote the community, retweet, repost and …. This is the link to the space if you found this to be interesting and you want to learn more about how to retain engagement even after mint. |
