Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge: Going The Distance

Hello splinterlands warriors, how are you doing today, hope you are good?
The first player I read his splinterlands weekly challenge was #beaker007, he used Quix the Devious summoner that reduced the ranged attack of the opponent's monsters. That was the best decision in this battle, we all know that Going the distance is a range battle, that is the reason you have to come up with a strategy that will breakdown Opponent's monsters.
He knew the best way was to use that summoner.
I have learned from my experiences that there are monsters and summoners that play vital roles when Going the distance is given, they are:

Summoner with close range ability such as Fernheart: when a player uses this kind of summoner in close range rule, any monster with range ability can lead the battle. If I have this kind of summoner, I would use a monster with healing ability as the first monster.
This type of a summoner is the best because all range monsters would attack in any position.

Summoners that give additional range ability such as a General Sloan: I have used General Sloan in battles. It is one of the summoners that is good in going the distance battle. The Addition of a monster with headwinds ability would be very good. The last time I used this kind of strategy, I won the battle flat.

Summoners that reduce opponent range ability such as a contessa L’ament: this summoner is very good against going the distance rule. But a player needs to be strategic when selecting monsters.
I love to place monsters with range ability in the front line. Once a range monster without close range ability leads the lineup, such a monster cannot attack. This is the reason a player should select monsters with range ability in the front line.

Ruleset
Explosive Weaponry: All monsters have the blast ability.

Earthquake: Non-flying monsters take 2 melee damage at the end of each round.

Going the Distance: Only monsters with ranged attack may be used in battles.

Monsters arrangement
**Lyanna Natura **

Ability: +1 additional health to all friendly monsters
Mana: 4
Only earth summoners were given to me in this battle which was not part of my plan whenever I'm given going the distance.
Obsidian would have been better but it does not add anything to my strategy. Since magic monsters were not in the lineup, it would be a waste of time to use obsidian.
But, Lyanna Natura gave additional +1 health to friendly monsters. The health that Lyanna Natura gave was a big advantage to me in this battle.

Fungus Flinger
Splinter: Earth 🌎🌍🌍
Level: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟
Speed: 1 🚤
Ability: Martyr and Blind
Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Attack: Range
Mana: 3
I was thinking that the blind ability of Fungus Flinger would make the opponent's monsters miss while attacking my monsters. Unfortunately, the opponent's monsters did not miss the attack.
I also believe that by the time Fungus Flinger would be eliminated, Gargoya Devil would increase stats. My plan was to use Fungus Flinger to increase the stats of Gargoya Devil.
Attacks from Gem Meteor and Centaur eliminated Fungus Flinger and Gargoya Devil.

I wanted to use Gargoya Devil as a joker in this battle. Gargoya Devil was not given an opportunity to attack in this battle. It was eliminated in the first round of the battle.

Venari Markstrat
Splinter: Neutral
Level: 2 🌟⭐
Speed: 1 🚤
Ability: Martyr
Health: 4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Attack: Range
Mana: 3
I used Venari Wavesmith in this battle to increase the stats of Gargoya Devil and Water Elemental. But, Gargoya Devil was eliminated before Venari Markstrat.
Therefore, Venari Markstrat couldn't increase the stats of Gargoya Devil:
Venari Markstrat was also eliminated in the first round of this battle.
At the end of round one, I was left with two monsters- Waters Elemental and Barking Spider.

The moment Venari Markstrat was eliminated, it increased the stats of Water Elemental which made the monster stay longer in this battle.
Throughout the round, only Barking Spider was able to attack; it attacked and eliminated, opponent's Venari Markstrat but the resurrection ability of his summoner resurrected it back.
Therefore, none of my opponent monsters were eliminated in round 1.

Earth Elemental
Splinter: Earth 🌎🌍🌎
Level: 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Speed: 2 🚤🚤
Ability: Heal
Health: 7 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Attack: Range
Mana: 3
After the earthquake damaged 2 health from Water Elemental, and eliminated Venari Markstrat in round two. Toward the end of round 2, the health of Water Elemental was damaged to one but its healing ability increased it to three. That was the reason Water Elemental was able to reach round 3.
Barking Spider was able to attack in the second round, reduced the health of **Gem Meteor **to two and the blast ability affected Centaur which reduced it health to 2.

Health: 8 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was only the Barking Spider that attacked in this battle. Out of the 5 monsters that I used, only Barking Spider was able to attack.
At the beginning of round 3, only Water Elemental was left in my line.
Since Supply Runner led the lineup, it could not attack; the healing ability helped Water Elemental to gain two health which made it to reach round 4.
