That’s pretty crazy, but not surprising. Spinning up their own chain would be interesting to see actually.
And no, haven't used ETH in a long time. I am a huge fan and build things using BSC and recently been getting into polygon a bit as well.

High fees on Eth literally chased users away and I can’t wait to see their high fees fixed.
I wouldn’t want to run my own chain, too much involved. But really if that’s what people are trying to do, they need to look at the IBC ecosystem through the CosmosSDK. But if you are just doing an app or something it’s best to build on existing infrastructure. IMO
There are already allot of alternatives to Ethereum that do the same thing with way cheaper fees. Devs that build on Ethereum are asking for issues.
