GETTING LISTED/DELISTED ON THE STOCK MARKET

So many businesses strive to get listed on the stock market and that's for obvious reasons. Every business out there whether genuine or not wants to get noticed by as many investors as possible. I think this is somehow similar to how proposals on hive are voted for so they can get qualified for decentralized hive funding (DHF).

About two weeks ago, Ganiu Oloruntade in his post mentioned that Jude Chiemeka, acting CEO of the NGX, told TechCabal about his optimistism of at least one or two listings happening this year. Here in Nigeria we are already having a lot of setbacks in so many aspects and in his post he also mentioned how the value of naira can be a drawback for any stock getting listed as we don't even have enough liquidity for our naira.

Getting listed on the stock market is not an easy step because it has some technical requirements that makes it hard for many securities to get listed. But there are so many benefits for getting listed and that's why so many securities try to get listed on the stock exchange market as that add more Value to them. When a stock, bond or derivatives is listed in the stock exchange market, it gives it the opportunity to be seen by more investors and business personnels.

Even as hard as it is to get listed, it's also just as easy to be delisted from the stock exchange market as well. The stock exchange market is a place where only true stocks of values should be found so therefore, whenever a listed stocks, Bond or derivatives no longer meets the requirements, they are often delisted after confirmation so the stock exchange market can continue to be a safe place for investors.

Just like on Hive, once a proposal no longer gets a support as it should, even though it was once listed for support from the DHF, it is still possible to be delisted when it losses it's support. It only means that people are either no longer interested in the proposal or they don't just know how important it is to support a project that they believe in.

Learning about listing and delisting was quite a challenge for me because I had no idea about what it means and how it's applied until I did some researches. Now I'm certain that there are lot of things that I don't know about and thanks to the postingspree challenge by @tsunsica I've been able to learn something really interesting today.

With this in mind, do well to support the @ leofinance project, @ hivebuzz project and the @ ecency project because they are doing quite a lot for the hive blockchain. And know that every vote counts. There are many other projects here on hive that needs your support too to help them function even more than they are doing now. If you neglect giving your support, it's just a matter of time before they get delisted from those to be supported with decentralized Hive funds and that might not be good.

That's all for now, I do hope you found some value in what I've shared here today just as much as I did researching about this topic.
