The last few weeks have shown a resurgence in the price of Bitcoin. That seems to have given new strength to the ecosystem and the technology that aimed to be disruptive but that went out like an old fire that was not given any attention over time sufficient refueling.
Perhaps it is worth mentioning that a lot had to do with the mismanagement of some characters who deceived thousands in different ways: exchanges that abruptly closed leaving users without their holdings, investment funds, and savings platforms based on cryptocurrencies that turned out to be scams. pyramid schemes, hacks in some unverifiable cases, in short, a complete demonstration that, despite the supposed security of the blockchain, one is not protected from human greed and evil.
But no distrust will fall if the valuation of a good rises continuously, in that we must agree that bitcoin is no different from what a stock or an investment fund is in traditional finance.
Probably the valuation of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain should not have been so optimistic, if we had treated it from the beginning as a set of powerful technological tools, yes, but not magical, they would have taken another more solid and constant path. But optimism prevailed and it was thought that we had touched the sky with our hands, distrust came slowly and stayed for a long time.
I think that now we are in a different situation, we already know that it is not a perfect tool, but it can be perfected, although with solid foundations. Maybe now we will witness a rebirth again, yes or maybe not and it will just be a summer swallow.
We will have to wait; however, we can do a lot for the good of the ecosystem and that is to trust and bet on its recovery, be creative, and support the consolidation of technology with our actions and ideas.
Hive has shown that despite all the difficulties of the mother cryptocurrency, they have never given up and today there is a strong and thriving community that continues to grow. If Bitcoin is reborn, it will help us make this path more passable.

Las últimas semanas ha mostrado un resurgir de la cotización del bitcoin y eso parece haberle dado nuevas fuerzas al ecosistema y a la tecnología que apuntó para ser absolutamente disruptiva pero que con el correr del tiempo se fue apagando como un fuego viejo al que no se le brindó la suficiente recarga de combustible.
Quizás valga la pena mencionar que mucho tuvo que ver la mala gestión de algunos personajes que engañaron a miles de diferentes maneras: exchanges que cerraron abruptamente dejando a los usuarios sin sus tenencias, fondos de inversión y plataformas de ahorro basados en criptomonedas que resultaron ser estafas piramidales, hackeos en algunos casos incomprobables, en definitiva, una demostración acabada de que, pese a la supuesta seguridad de la blockchain, no se está a cubierto de la codicia y la maldad humana.
Pero no hay desconfianza que no se caiga si la valoración de un bien sube ininterrumpidamente, en eso debemos convenir en que el bitcoin no es diferente a lo que es una acción o un fondo de inversión en las finanzas tradicionales.
Probablemente la valoración de las criptomonedas y la blockchain no debió ser tan optimista, si la hubiéramos tratado desde un principio como un conjunto de herramientas tecnológicas, poderosas sí, pero no mágicas, hubieran transitado otro camino más sólido y constante. Pero el optimismo prevaleció y se pensó que habíamos tocado el cielo con las manos, la desconfianza vino lentamente y se quedó por mucho tiempo.
Creo que ahora estamos en otra situación, ya sabemos que no es una herramienta perfecta, es perfectible, aunque con bases sólida. Quizás ahora volvamos a presenciar un renacimiento, tal vez sí o tal vez no y solo sea una golondrina de verano.
Habrá que esperar, no obstante, mucho podemos hacer por el bien del ecosistema y eso es confiar y apostar por su recuperación, ser creativos y apoyar con nuestras acciones e ideas la consolidación de la tecnología.
Hive ha demostrado que pese a todas las dificultades de la criptomoneda madre, nunca se han bajado los brazos y hoy hay una comunidad fuerte y pujante que continúa creciendo, si bitcoin renace, seguramente nos ayudará en hacer más transitable este camino trazado.

Sensible position, although I do not have a Satoshi and the Hives in my wallet are few, they are profits that I am willing to risk. I keep my account active, hoping that all this grows and is a better present every day.
There are still battles to fight, CBDCs that threaten freedom have not yet emerged, let us hope to overcome future setbacks and move forward.
