Sending LEO direct to the @lbi-token account means that you get one LBI for each LEO sent. The price is 1 LEO.
On leodex, people can charge whatever they want. Some might be trying to make a quick turnaround by buying direct and trying to sell on Leodex for a 5% or 10% profit.

Is an LBI investment, for us users, working in the same way as investing in a fund ?
The simple action of buying LBI (through LEO sending or buying directly on HE) would be enough to enjoy all LBI investment activities or is there anything else to do ?
Is LBI a better SPI or should I still be considering investing in SPI ?

Yes to a large degree.
You send the LEO over and get the LBI sent to your Hive Engine wallet. The activity done pertaining to the LBI project adds value to the token. It is from there that the project grows.
Of course, one can opt to get involved to a larger degree by participating in some of the efforts as they arise.
Only you can answer that.
LBI is still in the direct sale stage...the only way to get SPI is on the exchange. So LBI is in a much earlier stage which some people prefer. Early adoption tends to get higher rewards in the long run. That said, it is a lot less established than SPI.
