Superstitions are something difficult to erradicate in human beings.
I don't know how people believe in things that doesn't exist.
Fear, ignorance, control method of local leaders, etc.
Ignorant is really bad but not an excuse. Not just in this case but in other things.
Which young man? Well, deity still exists in most tradions and shouldn't be toyed with. Maybe the man did something bad.
Deity is still present everywhere...just some places more raw, some more subtle
Deity is energy. It can never die. It exists in everything around you and inside of you.
