The cryptocurrency industry is unique, and it will continue to grow, regardless of any obstacles it faces. It has already shaped the future and helped developing countries like Ghana. The Hive Water Project in Ghana is one of the projects that have impacted the lives of many people in Ghana, and it has also ended a conflict between two communities. The project brought them together to share the water donated by the Hive Ghana water project. Hive and cryptocurrency have the power to change lives for the better.
Cryptocurrency will continue to make its mark, but I am upset with the way the CBN and the Federal Government of Nigeria are trying to shut down any form of cryptocurrency activity within the country. They should be looking for ways to make this technology a part of the country and find good means to generate revenue from crypto. Cryptocurrency has done more good in the Nigerian economy by giving young people without jobs a means to make money from themselves without getting involved in illegal activities.
The percentage of unemployment in Nigeria has increased over the years, and it has affected so many young people who have obtained a degree. It's painful to spend 4 to 6 years in school hoping to get a job once you leave school, but in reality, no jobs are waiting for anyone. Even people with jobs are getting undervalued because they are getting paid less than they are worth. Cryptocurrency has helped manage the high unemployment rate in Nigeria. People can make money from the convenience of their homes with just their smartphones.
It has also boosted content creation because some people create videos and tutorials to teach others how to trade and navigate their way into the crypto space. Some of these tutorials are being paid for before getting access. The few points mentioned above show how cryptocurrency has helped manage the high unemployment rate in Nigeria. Without cryptocurrency, the Nigerian economy would have worsened, and it might have led to a whole new level of crime outbreak worse than what is happening in the country.
Hive has different dapps, and one of the unique features is the keychain. Keychain has experienced enormous growth in recent years, and it has opened the door for HBD to be utilized properly. Businesses are now accepting HBD as payment, which is a great start. Keychain has broken boundaries, and I am actively invested in using Keychain for everything related to Hive and web3. Although LeoDex has made an incredible breakthrough, I am still yet to explore it yet and will probably do that later today. It is incredible seeing these dapps level up, and I will be here to witness more incredible things in the long run.
