Blur had two rounds of it's airdrop already and second one was dropped couple of days and now the new airdrop is by "BLAST".
It's a new project in space a lot of well known influencers are invested in it as well paradigm have funded millions in it.
I've found a lot of interesting things about it you should definitely know Incase you're interested in farming the airdrop.
Blast: A Layer 2 on Ethereum
Blast is going to be an another layer 2 chain on ethereum by the founder of BLUR protocol, Pacman is behind this new protocol "BLAST" and the cool thing about this protocol is "native yield for $ETH and stablecoin" like USDT.
I'm kinda surprised Blast is first protocol claiming to be a layer 2 comes with native yield. it's running on a 5-person Multi-sig at the moment who are unknown as well as chosen without governance and DAO since there's no chain built yet. The amount of risks here is something I'm trying to grasp.
They've already raised $20 Million from paradigm and Standard Crypto, both are the known venture capital in crypto space.
Plenty of times when paradigm have funded in a project. its airdrops turned out pretty rewarding.
And blur distributed the 5th largest airdrop in Ethereum history. So, it could be the next big one.
The 5-Person Multi-sig With No Layer 2 Chain?
Many people are concerned about using a Multi-sig because it makes the whole thing centralized and increase trust issues since there are total of 5 person they've signed in on the Multi-sig who can authorize and sign transactions and do all.
The whole thing is "trust" I myself and majority of space doesn't trust Multi-sig over a layer 2 chain that doesn't even exist yet.
But It is coming from the founder of already existing chain and one of biggest NFT marketplace is now found in the BLUR. So, protocol will eventually exist soon imo.
Everything You Need to Know about Blast Airdrop
It is going to airdrop 50% to early members of Blast and 50% of the airdrop to developers building on it.
To begin with the airdrop you will need to join the protocol by bridging your ETH and putting it on staking.
The more you collect the points, the more better airdrop you can receive later.
Once you've accessed it early and have bridged your ETH now you can farm airdrop by collecting points which depends on how much people you're inviting through the referral, how much ETH you've on staking and also there's spin the wheel to get the points.
You should also know that:
- Once you bridge eth to blast, there's no way to bridge outside - since there's no bridge yet, you can't move funds.
- Also when you put your ETH on staking to get the 4% Yield on it. Funds will Get locked till February.
mainnet will launch on Feb 24 and once it's live, withdrawals will be enabled as well as other Dapps built on it.
While Redeeming Points will be possible on May 24.
Reason I Think This Could be Next Big Airdrop in Crypto
One major reason is halving is next year around April while mainnet will go live in February and we all know halving narrative alone could hype this project enough to make airdrop one of most rewarded one's on Ethereum.
There are still people doubting this project even though it's not even started on the other hand blast has reached $443 Million in TVL within 4 days also exceeding 52,836 user's is a big milestone.
Also It's not just VC's invested in this project but also some influencers have invested few of millions like they know something.

This is all you need to know about blast and I'll be looking this protocol closely since I've missed plenty of airdrops opportunity already and now when it's near halving time all airdrops looks worth to try.

just be careful on joining airdrops, make sure double check the site if that is the legit one and make sure to create a wallet for airdrops only so drainers won't get your crypto holdings. once u connect ur wallet on that site, everything is in their control. btw it's nice to see u here, sami :) have a great day ahead!
