But he was too slow.
He was caught mid-air by the hands of the troll that was following him closely.
Out of air and control, he fainted due to the extreme fear of what was about to happen to him

He was being followed by several of them, and was never taught that one was an ally, and that made the run believable and he fainting was excellent so the ally could pretend he hurt him while running

Perhaps, the lady with a scar on the forhead and a dimple is with him. Even I would run if I were the one.

Meanwhile on the other side of the mountain his friends were continuing their search for him hoping he got away from those ugly trolls who chased him knowing they were hunted too since the events at the wedding in the castle … #zapfic
BUt what awaited him over the cliff was unknown to him and he never cared being that he was running from being caught. Unfortunately, he hit his head on a rock on landing.

He felt a rush of air as he fell, his heart pounding. He wondered if this was the end and if he would die on the rocks below. He hoped it would be quick and painless.
But then he heard a loud splash and felt cold water envelop him. He opened his eyes and realized he had landed in a river. He gasped for air and swam to the surface, looking around for signs of his pursuers.
He saw them on the cliff, pointing guns at him. He heard shots and saw bullets hitting the water near him. He dove under again and swam as fast as he could, hoping to find a hiding place.
He spotted a cave on the riverbank and headed towards it. He emerged from the water and crawled inside, hoping it was deep enough to conceal him. He lay down on the wet ground and tried to catch his breath.
He had escaped for now but knew they would not give up. They wanted him dead because he knew too much. He knew their secrets, their plans, their crimes. He knew they were behind the assassination of the president.
He was the only witness, and he had proof. A USB drive with all the evidence was hidden in his shoe. He had to get it to the authorities to expose and stop them.
But how? He was alone, wounded, and hunted. He needed allies, resources, and a way out.
He closed his eyes and prayed for a miracle.
As he was falling, he was sure that he would meet his end, and he said a word of prayers as he kept falling into an endless pit of which he did not know what he would meet. He was certain that it would be death but one can only hope
The cliff where he jumped was high enough to break his bones, but lucky him he felt on a waterfall. His heart was beating so fast that you could hear the sound even from top of that cliff.... #zapfic
As he jumped, gunshots echoed through the air. One of the bullets struck his left shoulder, passing through quickly. In the blink of an eye, he crashed into the ocean and was relieved that it was deep enough to save his life.

He was hearing the voices, he know that that with every second they were coming close to him. But the also know that this is not the right time to react so he hide himself under a broken tree.

he thought he had jumped into water and water it seemed but he keep going down but surprisingly he did not choke or suffocate instead could breathe with ease he was being pulled into a stream of light

As he fell, the words he had muttered were a call to the nymphs who appeared to save him. Although he managed to get safely to the ground, summoning nymphs has a heavy price to pay.

The water was freezing and the current of the river was very strong. He tried to get to the surface but it submerged him again. "I'm going to die" he thought "in the end I'm going to die" after what seemed like hours, the river #zapfic
But by the time he opened his eyes, he realized that he was miraculously saved by an unknown invisible force, as he found himself entangled on the slant face of the cliff.
