It's that time of the month again when a few hundred Hivers would let go of some or all of their liquid HIVE from their wallets, not by selling them but by staking them as Hive Power thereby increasing their Resource Credits, their curation rewards, their voice weight on the Hive governance through voting their chosen witnesses, their account reputations, and shall I say strengthen their commitment to the Hive ecosystem too? Yeah, that sounds right.
August 1st is officially here and it's #HivePowerUpDay baby!
July seems to have gone by so swiftly. I've been a bit caught up with things recently and my activities became limited than how they used to be, but that's life, it happens. Despite that, I'm still not forgetting the daily staking of HIVE which started on the very 1st of the year. I've just completed my 7th month of continuous daily investing yesterday and today marks the start of the 8th month.
For a little review of the account growth, this was my Hive Power stats 1st July prior to powering up: 4199.56 HP
Currently, my wallet has 5,039.08 HP which means there was an increase of about 898 HP (19.98%) for the whole month of July. That actually crossed-off my HP year-end goal but we're setting a new one.
My July HP growth by the way was from the following:
I'm pleased with the growth although July had been quite slow in terms of shares from the RP. Anyway, while on the road today, I checked-off my 8th HPUD participation by powering up a hundred HIVE (100) which bumped up my HP to 5139.
Dolphin is getting closer yet a bit farther away. If I'm not mistaken, about 5500 HP is needed to get there and would probably take me a month but there's no rush. I'm going to keep enjoying this journey one day at a time.
