Any asset is dependent on the lowest sell price regardless of what trading pair that may be.
If you can buy 1 LEO for either 1 USDC/USDT or 1 HIVE, which would you choose?
If LEO was still trading on Hive engine for 1 HIVE, it would still have been decreasing in price because there are sell orders on that trading pair.
If I get LEO in USDT pair I can directly buy it but if I get it in HIVE pair I will convert my USDT into HIVE and then buy LEO the quantity of buying will be almost same. There is not difference. I will choose the first option as in that case I don't need to convert my asset. Otherwise there is no any other reason.
You are saying like $LEO price never gone up. I think you forgot that LEO price went to 20 cents + even when the HIVE price were coming down. It's proves that LEO can go up in that way also.

I said that it won't go up as we imagined it would.

I never heard from anyone because of pair trading; one token price is holding back. If that was the truth, everything would be traded only in stablecoins.

I agree HIVE is not doing well, but you are accusing $HIVE unreasonably, and that's why I needed to say that. If you said something logical, I would accept it immediately. it's not about I am not ready to accept. In that case, I can say the same thing for you also.
