Exactly, I am seeing the issue with my testings too. Understanding of the reason which moved the price is required otherwise these numbers and actions will never make sense.

Spot on. Price movement without context is just noise. SMAs and other indicators fall flat if you don’t dig into the ‘why’ behind the numbers. I’ve learned that the hard way in past trades
After reading a bit more, I am getting closer to fixing my mistakes. SMA is trend following, so setting the traget is not a correct approach, but instead riding the trend is the correct one. Let me change that in my setting and let's see where this will get me.
Good call on riding the trend instead of setting targets with SMAs. Trend-following works best when you let the market dictate the pace. Curious to see how your updated settings play out in real trades
I tried the Trailing SL, I made a mistake with not defining the target and all the exits were SL hits.

Tough break with the trailing SL hits. Without a target, exits can sneak up on you. Trend-following needs room to breathe—maybe tweak the SL to give the market some wiggle space. Eager to see how this evolves for you
Yeah, I am going to put more changes into the strategy.
Looking forward to seeing what adjustments you make. Sometimes even small tweaks to a strategy can reveal new insights about the market's behavior
