The picture shows a new slab for the I215 construction. That slab is thick. It looks like 18." Is it sitting ontop asphault sitting atop gravel. They definitely believe in laying it thick.
I admit that I am envious of the construction workers on this project. The slabs of cement will probably bring more long term value to the world than HIVE.
Anyway, it is the end of the month and time for my monthly roundup. HIVE has made me depressed. The HIVE witnesses are using the platform to secure a $3.5 million HBD loan at 20% interest. The HBD loan has undermined the alt-coins on HIVE engine and might lead to a complete collapse of HIVE itself.
I didn't write any posts last month. Lets face it. I cannot in good concious recommend the platform because of a stupid decision made by the witnesses.
To reiterate the argument. Investing in HIVE is a bad decision because the witnesses are using the platform to secure a loan at 20%. Investing in alt-coins is ludicrous because the HIVE alt-coins are based on HIVE. Posting on HIVE is a stupid decision for the same reason. Now, here is the kicker ... investing in HBD is stupid because this 20% interest on HBD will most likely undermine the platform.
The HBD formula factors in an HBD haircut that kicks in when the market value of HBD increases above 10% of the market value of HIVE. Ausbit banki notes that the haircut kicks in when HIVE drops to e $0.2081. The haircut will kick in if HIVE falls by 60%.
People who follow crypto know that it is not uncommon for crypto currencies to experience dramatic drops in extremely short periods.
To avoid the haircut, HBD investors will need to convert their HBD to HIVE and then dump the HIVE. We will see millions of HIVE being dumped in a weak market.
I have $150 in HBD savings. I admit, I wonder at what point should I panic? At what price should I convert the HBD to HIVE and dump the HIVE?
Anyway, the high interest on HBD had destroyed my enthusiasm for the platform and I have been too depressed to write posts.
Sadly, the stats from Arcange indicate HIVE has been hemmoraging users ever since the witnesses poisoned the platform with the 20% interest on HBD.
I am too stupid to close the account. My account is still 100% powered up. If I was smart, I would be powering down all of my HIVE and buying HBD and preparing for the big HBD haircut dump.

I had been wasting time developing programs to interface with HIVE. First Justin Sun and now the HIVE witnesses have proven that this is not a trustworthy platform and that developers are foolish to create programs for the platform.
Anyway, here is my HIVE empire. It is strange to think that just a year ago several of my alt-coin collections were worth over $500.
