Not to get too drawn into this topic but... one thing Hive does offer is the ability to see 'the facts on the ground' in certain areas where folks are located or visiting. Of course it is just their own truth/version of things but having that kind of uncensored (uncensorable) access is extremely potent.
Transparency does add a layer to the platform that isnt really evident elsewhere.
