Voting power and Resource credits are two different things. Voting power (aka mana) for rewards, RC for "bandwith fair-use" (to keep it short).
As for keeping mana over 80%, unless your total power is very low there is no advantage as I tried to explain here (Mana and Splinterlands Capture Rate are the same mechanics).
You still continue your stupide crusade with 20 downvotes due your personal blacklist, so you get some back.

That is true, Voting Power is the one that dictates the size of the upvote either on Hive or second layer tokens and on that I wanted to emphasize upon.
