Great summary and I agree that the timelines are more loose than people think.
Testnet version seems to be running fine though. Didn't see any reports of bugs and it's still early to judge probably.

Interesting times for ETH, especially now when we have a ton of competition in the space.
The only "competitors" I see are zkRollups and Layer 2 solutions. Every other Ethereum-like L1 attempt is far from being a competitor imho.
