Never knew that Hive could have Layer2 chains until I heard Dan talk about them in a Twitter space the other day. Your explanation made them a lot more understandable though.

The second layer is enhanced or restricted by what happens at the base layer. If things are slow or expensive, that impacts the experience of the second layer. It is unavoidable.

What kind of load would we need to see for Hive to become slow, if that is even possible?

Also, thanks for the reminder. Missed the livestream but gonna listen to it asap.

Once HAF in place then it is normal what is the ability of the servers it is running on. It seems like it will then be scalable by adding more servers.
