RE: Can Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) Be The Solution To Our Financial Problems?

in LeoFinance2 years ago

As long as they can operate autonomously like in the example of "robotaxies" they have a very bright future. Right now the DAO's I'm involved in are all struggling with the same issues.

Most of them aren't really decentralized and 2-3 wallets can outway many small holders when a proposal is up for voting. In almost all cases, even if the proposal gets voted on by the community the developer doesn't really have to execute the will of the owners if they don't feel like it.

When DAO's become protocols I will be insanely bullish on them. For now, they are an interesting speculative game, at least for me.

Like anything it is all about the set up.

Same with Blockchains. We know the ones with huge founders' stakes are a problem. So what is being done with the distribution is a major question.
