My previous phone is known as LG G6. I was so happy when I bought it. I was able to sell 1UP toen at that time and added some of my savings to get the phone. It cost about N45,000 at that time.

The LG G6 sounds like an interesting phone, well it depends on the phone which you bought now. You can determine wealth by possessions! I determine wealth by having several inflow of cash.

*it is a great improvement

congratz on the new phone Jessi, we cant live without it XD

I loved a few things about the phone, the first was the appearance of the phone, it was portable and had a back glass. The camera wasn't so bad. It served me well.

Was the phone smart too?

Even when the screen and touchpad got cracked, it was still manageable until 2023. That was when it started malfunctioning.

There is need now to buy a new phone

That reminds me of my old cellphone. It was just dying after 6 years of service. I couldn't stand the issues and moved onwards. The issues kept happening more often.

The battery started draining fast, when I plug the phone in to charge, it would not charge fast unless I switch off the phone. In addition to that, each time I returned to see the battery's percentage, I always so ink on the screen.

Battery wahala is a big one because we need strong battery always

I'm experiencing almost same challenge. Phone battery will be fully charged, after some minutes of use it starts draining with speed.

You are rich when you are comfortable with what you have and you are contented in life

I got the signal at that moment that the phone was gradually deteriorating. Also, I felt it wouldn't be wise to go repair it because the model isn't popular and the parts are hard to find in the market.

I don't think it's worth repairing if it's over a few years old unless you need the data. It just doesn't seem worth it if you include the parts and other labor involved.

People think it's the case because you got something new but I don't think that makes you rich. Do the people around you tend to get used products instead?

Honestly, it doesn't. I have to work super hard to raise and save up to the amount I spent on the phone. maybe the rich ones are the ones who get to buy brand-new products. Mine is UK used.

The next plan was to save up money and swap it. The decision became final when I saw that the keypad had started malfunctioning too. I could no longer press D, X and some other letters.

Mine now isn't vibrating when calls come in again even when it's on vibration mode.

The battery lasts long and I am loving it. That doesn't mean I am rich. I only got rid of a problem, thank God the money was available at the right time.

buying new phone doesn’t mean we’re rich, actually even living the life of rich people doesn’t mean that.
Many try to act like rich people and at the end they just go down.
Planning, organizing and financial management can make us rich

Congratulation on the new phone and the phone is like a necessity for us and not a luxury unless you carry more than one.

people have their own perceptions

congratulations on your new purchase

sometimes people think you are rich because of the way you carry yourself and sometimes the way you spend

I bought my present device on 2021. I'm not gonna change it before crashing.

rich is a whale I think. At least that's what I consider rich. If not the rest of us are just barely getting by or well off. I only know I'm poor :c

Its a world where people attach a lot of important to material things. Even when you buy a new gadget out of necessity, they instantly think you have it all. That is really sad as values are always misplaced now.

It's quite interesting how people think and perceive things. You buying a new phone doesn't really mean you are splurging but it's a necessity based on your story of your other phone malfunctioning.
