As usual, the first of the month is it means it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. So it's time to check up on my goals and make sure to set my next month's goal.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the April HPUD by "@"traciyork. Last month was a little less than the month before as I gained around 176 HP.
My current HP before powering up is 2,812 HP and I plan on powering up 25 HIVE again this month. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.
Follow up on my Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2022 and you can see the third addition of 22.35 HBD. I did not collect any interest because the February claim is still throwing off my collection date by 1 day. I did add an extra 50 HBD into my savings this month. Every little bit counts and it will add up over time.

I staked the 100 LEO I needed to reach 1.9k Leo Power and I am close to getting 2k LEO Power. I did not keep track of my comment count but I know that I have been doing above 50 per day on average so I am above my goals. The rest of the gaming goals were met without too much of an issue. Besides that, I also bought the last 10 UTOPIS to reach 100 UTOPIS. As a bonus, I did buy 1k CTP tokens so I also staked 1.5 CTP tokens. With this, my stake in the CTP community is now 5k and they have been creating the amazing Listnerds tool. With this, I think I have enough Hive Engine CTP tokens staked and I think I will start working on more ListNerds CTP stake.
I did my monthly CUB add and it was tough deciding where to invest. With Polygon added to the mix, I found myself considering whether or not the farms or kingdoms were better. In the end, I did choose to invest in the CUB kingdom to get the benefits of the PolyCUB airdrop and the farms just weren't as attractive.
April goals
I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.
- 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
- 1,000 comments for the month
- 3,000 HP
- 1,900 Leo Power Staked (add 100 LEO)
- Buy 25 INDEX
- Invest at least 200 LEO to the CUB related Defi platforms
- Maintain top 75 ranks in Rising Star
- Finish Splinterlands quest daily
The reasoning for these can be found in my January goals. For the most part, I just plan on continuing these goals as they seem manageable. I did reach 100 UTOPIS last month so I plan on changing my focus over to INDEX. The INDEX token is run by the CTP community and it also participates in a lot of different projects on Hive.
Conclusion
With the price of Hive going up, I don't think that buy order I placed last month will work out. When it does bounce back, I think I will add it to my savings instead. Either way, I just push on forward towards these small goals. Consistency is key and I like to write it out each month to help me stay on track.

I take a portion of my LEO earned each month to buy something on the CUB platforms. So it just depends on what you want to do. It's a bit tough to figure out where to invest right now though.

The comments were meant to put a minimum bar for me each month. As of right now, I usually average like 60-70 comments a day so I have a lot of buffer right now.

Soon you will have 3000 Hive Power. Good luck with this. This will be a good milestone.
You already saw one of it, and yes, fortunately/luckily (thank you to the Hive blockchain community), I am making good progress towards it.
My second goal is to become a dolphin, which is somewhere around 5000 Hive Power. Recently I reached 1500 Hive Power, so nowadays the amount of Hive Power in my Hive account is approximately the half of the amount of Hive Power you have in your Hive account.

3k is my goal for the end of the month and I am going to see where things lead at the end of the month. I gathered most of my HP just through posting on the chain and I think it's also possible for you. Of course, it takes work and consistency o do so.
