As usual, the first of the month is it means it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. So it's time to check up on my goals and make sure to set my next month's goal. Four months are up and there are 8 left in the year. So a third of the year has gone by.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the May HPUD by "@"traciyork. I don't really qualify for rewards anymore but I will still power up each month as part of my general monthly task. This month, I earned 389 HP and this is better than last month. It's a slow process but I am slowly building up more and more HP and HBD.
My current HP before powering up is 6,647 HP and I plan on powering up 10 HIVE this month. I am continuing with 10 HP for now and my HBD goal is pretty much complete because I only need to wait for the interest payments. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.
My Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2023 is pretty much my hive goals for 2023. So this portion of HBD has been moved towards my weekly updates towards my goals and my latest update can be found here.
Monthly Goals
Here I will set my goals for the month and review my previous month's goals.
Previous Month Summary
Here I will review the goals I set for my april goals. My Hive goals went well and I surpassed my goal without any issues.
I took part in Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and staked the 1093 LEO I need for my goal. With this, I only need 200LEO per month to reach my goal. This is the largest LEO powerup that I have ever done but I was still unlucky with the delegations. I also managed to get the 3 posts per week done without too many issues.
My INDEX order from last month did not fill and it expired. So I decided to put up a larger order up to buy some INDEX. I am still able to get that Splinterlands chests without too many issues and I think this goal will be even easier because I am more focused on Silver League due to the new changes. So there are no issues with my Splinterlands-related goal for focus chests.
May goals
I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.
- 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
- 1,000 comments for the month
- 6,900 HP
- 6,300 Leo Power Staked (add 200 LEO)
- Buy 25 INDEX
- Get at least 1 chest per day for Splinterlands focus
I have yet to set my total goals for 2023 but I am cutting back some of my goals and leaving it at this.
Conclusion
Like usual, I am just doing my usual activities on Hive at night. It's always good to look back and make sure that my own goals are on track. Showing up each day matters and it has been paying off. I am doing quite well toward my own goals and I am slightly ahead for most of them minus the INDEX order not filling again.

That is the way forward, you are advancing with your goals quite well. I don't know about the INDEX token, is it a gaming token?

INDEX token is a Hive Engine token run by the CTP community. It is a bucket of Hive Engine tokens and it pays dividends. If you don't meet the minimum, the small amount your suppose to get adds up and then it gets released to you when it reachs the minimum.

Thank you and happy HPUD. I decided to just start making posts more often. It's more to document things as I go through Hive and I think my backup posts could be interesting splinterland battles that I have fought. I can make a few of them and try to make sure that I don't miss too many posts.
