I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2024 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. It's the start of a new year and I am going to see how well I have done since I set my goals. It's similar to last year but I do have plans to make sure the same HBD issues don't happen as last time. Building more of a buffer will be more important.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking pretty good so far. My numbers are a bit lower compared to last week for author rewards and curation rewards. It's not by too much but I should still be on track.
HP
I got about more than last week with 58 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. This is slightly better than last week and I have used up most of my voting power. It's possible that I did lose a bit though because I didn't use enough the day before.
HBD
I gained 16 HBD last week and I deposited that into my Savings this week. This is the same as last week. I got my interest of 35 HBD so that pushes up my HBD progress even further. So this week worked out quite well and I only expect that interest next month to go up as I add more HBD in the following weeks.
LEO Power
I did earn 39 LEO last week so it wasn't that bad. This was the same as last week and this week we got our first Leo ads payout. It gave me 28.98 LEO Power and that is quite good but I think this is probably the largest payout we will get. After all, the ad revenue was stacking up for a while so the next payouts will be monthly. It's been a long time but I still think it's great to see these payments finally. This will make it easier for me to get to my LEO goal this year.
Conclusion
My progress is looking fine so far. Both HBD and LEO power are ahead of where I need to be right now. My HP is the furthest behind and I am slightly behind on that end. It's not by too much though so I can still make it to my goal as I will power up more Hive during HPUD later on. Either way, the progress is great and the LEO ad payments will make that goal easier to reach. My HBD goal should be done before the end of the year so the leftover HBD can always be used to help my HP goal if I am behind.
