From what I saw, they will get an airdrop but the new chain itself isn't going to return the value of the chain back to them. I expect it to be sold to recover some of the losses.

The airdrop , I think it is for those who already had the LUNA before it crashed.. not for those who bought after the crash...correct me if I am wrong..
I believe it is both, a portion for before and a portion for after. However, I don't know for sure.
