I don't think it necessarily gives bots or players more advantage because the same general rewards were given so long as you didn't overfill your dark energy capture rate. However, the new system will make it harder on bots and force them to play less. I doubt many of those bots will bother paying for more energy.

I believe the new system will force them to buy more ecr with dec and will be a good thing in the long run
