Before going into the Marine Corps, I was in the Army Reserve and trained to be a medic in San Antonio Texas (Fort Sam Houston). Saw the Alamo, got thrown out of Gilly's for being underaged.
Texas is nice I guess. Then again it was over 40 years ago when I was there.
