Unexpected things always happen and it's too bad that they happened back to back to wipe out your funds. All you can do is learn from this and move on. I hope life improves for you soon and the landlords are always a pain to deal with.

The landlords here are always a hassle and you can see it's because of their greed at all time. As for the unexpected, I've been taught a bitter lesson these past few months and I'm hoping I take the time to recover. It's been crazy.
